The National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) wishes to notify the general public and all relevant stakeholders of the POSTPONEMENT of the National Validation Workshop for the Proposed Environmental Management and Coordination (Draft Electrical and Electronic Waste Management) Regulations 2025 which had been scheduled to take place on Wednesday 17th December 2025 at the Cooperative University of Kenya, Nairobi County. However, due to unavoidable circumstances the exercise has been postponed.
The National Validation Exercise will now be held on 26th February 2026 at a venue to be communicated in due course.
NEMA regrets any inconveniences caused and is committed to safeguarding the constitutional right to public participation in Environmental governance and decision making.
