PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES (PWD’S)

REGISTRATION WITH NATIONAL ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY (NEMA) TO ENABLE PARTICIPATION ON PROCUREMENT AND TENDERS.

The Public Procurement & Asset Disposal Act (PP&AD) 2015 and its Regulations 2020, provides requirements for procuring entities to integrate 30% preferences and reservations /disadvantaged groups in their Annual Procurement Plan as follows:

1. Women (14%)
2. Youth (14%)
3. Persons With Disabilities – PWD’s (2%).

This is therefore to request prospective suppliers in the above stated categories, especially Persons living with Disabilities (PWD’s) to urgently register with NEMA in line with the above statement.
